Roasted Pumpkin Soup | Freezer

An all-time classic kiwi favourite, roasted pumpkin gives our soup it's rich flavour and creamy texture.

Sizes: 690gms | Serves 2 
Dietaries: Gluten Free, Nut Free, Vegetarian

Ingredients:
Pumpkin, onion, potato, garlic oil, vegetable stock, cream

Serving Suggestions: 
Top with a swirl of pesto or fresh cream to serve.  Delicious also sprinkled with some diced chorizo, fried till crispy.

Heating Instructions:
We recommend placing the container in the fridge for 8-10 hours to thaw before heating.  It is also equally good heated from frozen, just follow the instructions below.

Stovetop: Place contents in saucepan on a low to medium heat, stirring occasionally till hot.  Be careful not to let it catch on the bottom of the pan.

Microwave: Remove contents from container, (if still frozen, run container under hot water to release),  placing in a glass or ceramic microwaveable bowl.  Cover with a plate or microwaveable clingfilm to prevent splattering.  Heat on full power for 2 minutes. Remove and stir.  Return to the microwave for a further 2 minutes or until steaming hot. If heating from frozen, allow an additional 5 minutes. 

Caution: Be careful of hot steam when removing covering.
