Coq Au Vin | Freezer

A classic French dish, 4 chicken thighs on the bone, richly flavoured with wine and herbs, simmered long and slow till very tender

Dietaries: Gluten Free, Dairy Free, Nut Free

Ingredients: Chicken, onion, bacon, mushroom, carrot, garlic oil, chicken stock, red wine, brandy, cornflour, thyme, parsley, salt & pepper

Heating Instructions:
We recommend placing the container in the fridge for 8-10 hours or overnight to thaw before heating. 

Oven: Place defrosted contents in an ovenproof dish, cover and heat through at 175C for 35 mins. 

Microwave: Remove contents from container, placing in a glass or ceramic microwaveable bowl.  Cover with a plate or microwaveable clingfilm to prevent splattering.  Heat on full power for 3 minutes.  Remove and stir.  Return to the microwave for a further 3 mins heating.  (This dish is not suitable for microwaving from frozen)

Caution: Be careful of hot steam when removing covering

Serving suggestions:
Sprinkle with freshly chopped parsley and serve with our creamy potato mash or classic potato gratin
